Edinburgh, Berwick & Borders, Borders Brake-Away, Livingston & West Lothian ....
Tony Houghton says:
As a prelude to the season I’m planning a gentle 25 mile ride on Sunday 12th February. We’ll leave the Youth Hostel in Bridge Street, Berwick at 10.00 am and go down the coast to Borewell Farm (Pot-a-Doodle-Do) for coffee. We’ll then continue via Cocklawburn, Cheswick, Ancroft, West Allerdean and Velvet Hall to Horncliffe where we’ll have lunch in the Fishers Arms. We’ll return to Berwick over the Chain Bridge and through Paxton to arrive well before it goes dark. Do join me.
Tony Houghton writes: "On Sunday 11th March CTC Lothians and Borders (our parent group) is organising a tour of East Lothian as the Audrey Fyfe Memorial Run. I propose a circular run from Duns to Dunbar and back to meet them in Dunbar for lunch. This will be a strenuous 50+ miles over fairly hilly terrain but should be good fun. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll send you more details. I’ll need to give the organizers our numbers for lunch."
Three days of very sociable cycling based at Longridge School a couple of miles outside Berwick-on-Tweed.

TEMPLARS, MARYCULTER, ABERDEEN
FRIDAY 1 June – WEDNESDAY 6 JUNE 2012
CTC Grampian are pleased to announce that the sixth rally will take place on the above dates. The Rally will again be held at Maryculter - about 7 miles from Aberdeen just to the south of the River Dee.
This year's run will be on June 21st (Midsummer's Day) starting at 19:00 hours, or if you prefer 7 pm, from the Commonwealth Pool. The ride will be about 15 miles and will last a couple of hours, the route as yet to be decided and will be advertised nearer the time, but rest assured it will not be too arduous and will be at a steady reasonable pace.
Please do join us - the weather was lovely on last year's run and I hope will be the same again this year - and it would be great to have more participants! So I am hoping by advertising early that more people will put it in their diaries and come along.
